At 7pm on the 1st June at Coultas Farm, Great Habton we are hosting the Swede Shear. A speed shear and party in honour of the Robert ‘Swede’ Stephenson Trust by kind permission of the Bulmer family. The event will consist of a shearing competition, comprising of an open and a young farmers class and finish with a party, music provided by ‘DJ Jarmuz’. Food and drink will also be available.
We are organising this event as we knew Swede from our school, rugby and university days. It has been a brain child of ours for some time as we wanted to raise money in honour of our close friend. Finding a different way to raise money was the challenge as many other friends have already undertaken a wide variety of challenges in Rob’s memory. However, nobody has yet organised a shearing event so we thought it was perfect! A great chance to get together and have some fun, whilst also spreading the good name of the trust.
‘Laugh. Live. Learn. Play.’
Entry price is a donation on the door. Shearing entries and/or enquiries about sponsorship to Neil Adams on 07890103461 or Robin Wilkinson on 07770845361
Attached are the initial details for 3 Plots 2019, in aid of the Rob Stephenson Trust which will be held in coastal East Suffolk on the 13th and 14th July, 2019. This weekend event covers a maximum of 80 miles or as little as you like. There will also be a dinner and fun charity auction on the evening of the Saturday 13th July.

In September I will be taking on the challenge of completing 75 miles of the North Cornish coast path in a long weekend.
The North coast of Cornwall is stunning and I have been so lucky to grow up with it on my doorstep, the coast path is a fantastic place to walk but it also very hilly and parts of it provide some challenging terrain. I will be starting in Port Quin and finishing in St. Ives.
I am raising money for two charities that are very important to me and that do fantastic work – The Eve Appeal and The Rob Stephenson Trust. If you would like to donate and help support the brilliant things that these charities do then you can do so here.
